Study of a digital camera set
A digital camera is a photographic device which captures light on an
electronic type medium, rather than on film, and which converts the
information received by this medium to encode it digitally. A digital
camera uses a CCD or CMOS sensor to acquire images, and saves them on
memory cards.
Subjects discussed :
- Sharpness, focus
- Magnification, magnification
- Aperture, exposure time and ISO
- Depth of field measurement
- Resolution, circle of confusion
- Synthesis of a color image
Principles and objectives:
The
aim of this practical work is to present the operation of a digital
camera and to analyze the shooting parameters (focus, aperture and
exposure time), the parameters of the complete system (angle of view,
magnification, depth of field and magnification), parameters relating to
the sensor (sensitivity and resolution) as well as the study of the
digital image obtained.
