Ultrasound kit + interferences

The proposed sets will allow you to rediscover the wave properties of ultrasound (propagation, diffraction, interference...) and to make an analogy with light waves. The 'Ultrasound Interference' kit uses the Ultrasonic Start kit (204 559) and incorporates two synchronous transmitters (instead of one) connected in parallel to the transmission signal and an adjustable spacing device to adjust the distance between the 2 transmitters. The versatile transducers (transmitter/receiver) are mounted in a high rod metal structure (Ø 10 mm), ensuring a low-noise signal and direct use on an optical bench. The variable frequency generator (burst/continuous) is ideal for finding the resonance frequency, measuring the time of flight, and easily synchronizing two transmitters. A rack and pinion coupling system allows you to position two transmitters side by side and vary their spacing, to carry out the interference experiment and verify the shape of the propagation equation solution.
