Motorized Newton's Disk

This device is equipped with a 7-sector colored disk, reminiscent of the colors obtained during the decomposition of white light with a prism. Mounted on a motor, the disk rotates at a sufficient speed to highlight, as Isaac Newton showed in his time, that white light is a combination of different colors. The chassis fits on stands (to be ordered separately) in rod or square format (max section 15mm). Paired with the large diameter of the disk (18cm), this makes the experience visible from afar and ideal for a 'teacher' type of experiment.
