LCD by transmission and mounting
The liquid crystal display is a concrete application of polarization. Our LCD display allows the implementation of a real system that is found in everyday life, to study its operation and the effect of liquid crystals on the polarization of light, thus explaining the 'black' color of the 'on' segments. Mounted on a rod, you can place the display on an optical bench between 2 polarizers to more easily find its neutral axis, the maximum and minimum brightness, and determine the rotational behavior of polarization when the liquid crystals are aligned. This system is included in the polarization and LCD pack (see related products).
Used alone it is to be completed by: - 1 optical bench of 2 m on stands - 7 riders - 2 precision polarizers - 1 white light source - 1 green filter slide - 1 converging lens (approx. 150-200 mm focal length) - 1 white screen
