Antibiotic Resistance Kit (DNA electrophoresis)
The tubes in this kit contain PCR amplification products. The scenario follows the principle of the PCR kit for detecting antibiotic resistance (ref.117136) with some evolutions. The scenario is set in the context of nosocomial infection with methicillin-resistant staphylococcus aureus. The presence of a multi-resistant strain is suspected in a hospital department. Electrophoresis will study the PCR result of 4 samples taken from patients. The DNA solutions are calibrated and require no preparation. Format: 20 tests, totaling 80 deposits to analyze + 10 deposits (molecular weight) Experiment duration: 60 min Storage duration: 6 months Storage condition: -20°C Separation of DNA fragments: 2% agarose gel
The kit consists of:
- 4 pre-loaded calibrated DNA tubes
- 1 tube of molecular weight ladder
