DNA Precipitation Kit - 10 tests
The DNA precipitation kit has been specially developed to successfully and cost-effectively precipitate and stain DNA. Extracting DNA from cell nuclei is never easy. It is necessary to lyse the plasma membranes, solubilize the DNA in an appropriate solvent while protecting it from the action of nucleases, and separate it from cellular debris. This kit allows you, starting from a salmon DNA solution, to highlight the precipitation reaction and observe a DNA macromolecule without encountering the difficulties of previous steps. The addition of ethanol precipitates the DNA, which can be wound onto a glass stirrer. The unwound and isolated DNA may not be visible, but the aggregated strands are perfectly visible. Format: 10 tests Duration of practical work: 45 min Shelf life: 4 months Storage conditions: -20 °C Ampoule volume: 1.5 ml
The kit consists of:
- Salmon DNA solution (10 ampoules)
- Sodium acetate solution (10 ampoules)
- Propan-2-ol (10 ampoules)
- Acetic methyl green (10 ampoules)
