Simulation Kit Mancini
Perform the dosage of a biomolecule (antibody or antigen) by simple radial immunodiffusion.
This kit is a simulation and does not use biological preparation, it illustrates the Mancini test.
This immunoprecipitation technique is both qualitative and quantitative.
The serum containing the antibody is incorporated into the agar (one box per test), the antigen is deposited in wells. After diffusion in the agar, immunocomplexes are observed forming precipitation arcs.
The Mancini test allows the creation of standard ranges of antigenic solutions, of known concentrations.
Format: 30 tests
Duration of the experiment: 2 sessions of 50 min
Shelf life: 12 months
Storage conditions: Room temperature
The kit consists of: - 30 Petri dishes with a diameter of 55 mm - Agar with antibodies (mineral compound) - 4 antigen solutions (mineral compound) - 5 cookie cutters
