Vanillin Crystallization Kit

This kit allows to explain the microlithic structure of volcanic rocks. The experiment consists of performing a fusion and then a gradual or rapid cooling of vanillin. Students will be able to visualize the influence of cooling rate on crystallization. Vanillin (vanilla extract) allows to simulate in class and safely the crystallization phenomenon of a magmatic rock. **Format:** 50 tests **Duration of the experiment:** 30 min **Shelf life:** 24 months **Storage conditions:** Room temperature
