A nylon film is formed at the interface of two immiscible liquids.
When pulling this film out of the crystallizer in which it was formed to obtain a filament, this film is immediately and consistently reconstituted.
This generates a strand of nylon until one of the two solutions is exhausted.

Aqueous solution of hexane 1,6-diamine (250 mL), heptane (250 mL), sebacoyl chloride, glass stirrer, a pair of gloves, disposable pipettes, instructions.

Required environment: a small beaker (50 or 100 mL), a low-form beaker 250 mL or a small crystallizer 250 mL.
