Computer-Assisted Observation: A rich and simple application of ICT that is easy to implement. A powerful software for visualization, acquisition, and processing of images, a user-friendly interface suitable for young students, a tool offering new educational opportunities for your observation lab work.

The PICTURIO software allows:
- the visualization on the computer screen of images obtained via a camera mounted on an observation station,
- the capture of still images (photos) or recorded sequences,
- the processing of captured or imported images.

Features
- real-time and full-screen display of images transmitted by the camera
- taking photos or capturing recorded sequences easily with the mouse
- processing tools usable with images acquired through the Picturio software or imported images
- image adjustments (brightness, contrast...)
- adding captions and comments
- drawing (tracing shapes or outlines)
- automatic generation of a schematic draft
- adding a scale and measuring distances
- counting elements.

These images can be printed, saved in various formats, and sent via email.

The digital zoom function allows you to adjust the display size of the image as you wish.
The 'drawing', 'caption', 'comments', 'scale', 'measurement', or 'counting' tools are customizable.
The scale, calibrated using an object of known size, serves as a reference for measurements.

The information placed on the image (counting, captions, drawings...) can be selected for display or printing as different layer levels.

The different layers are saved when you save your work in the proprietary format.
