GENERAL MODULE
Its generalist mode includes a wide range of tools that allow:
- Data acquisition
- Multiple representation of acquired values in the form of graphs, tables, or digital displays
- Data processing: spreadsheet-type calculations, smoothing, regression, portioning, modeling...
- Publishing the lab report thanks to the report function integrating classic layout tools
- Personalized specific assistance adapted to students

Data Acquisition: a 3-click setup
1. Drag the adapter or direct measurement channel icon vertically with the mouse.
2. Drag the time icon or keyboard icon horizontally for manual acquisition.
3. Click the start icon and... go!
The software automatically manages the acquisition time, number of points, or representation scales. For more precision, you can also adjust these parameters as needed to make the most of your console's performance.

Data Processing: a true scientific spreadsheet-grapher
The SVT Scientific Workshop has a 'Data Processing' workshop integrating classic tools like portioning, regression, or smoothing...

Assistance: step-by-step support
The SVT Scientific Workshop's assistance covers 3 main aspects:
- Software assistance
- Multimedia hardware assistance on the console and main probes used
- Customizable pedagogical assistance

Lab Report: a user-friendly publishing tool
To finish the lab, students can publish their results using the 'Lab Report' workshop.
With this tool, they can work on a coherent presentation of the issue, experimental protocol, and results obtained. The report is saved with the acquisition file and can be opened later.

Synchronized Video Acquisition: for new educational paths
Didactic innovation: Using images as an educational tool to facilitate:
- Your students' understanding through synchronous viewing of phenomena and measurements
- Implementation by filming the preparatory phase of the experiment
- Exploitation and analysis of the experiment by students, outside the laboratory.

Technological innovation: Using images as scientific data:
In addition to your standard measurements, the image becomes a true spatial and temporal reference, allowing you to measure distances, areas, and their changes over time. All these parameters are simultaneously transferred to the SVT Scientific Workshop's spreadsheet and can be graphically analyzed.

DEDICATED MODULE
Ventilation Module
This module is specifically dedicated to studying ventilation under 3 aspects: Spirography, Spirometry, and Functional Explorations.

It allows immediate visualization of ventilated volume using a ventilation sensor or flow-volume meter.
The subject can also perform forced inspirations and expirations. Subsequently, the available tools can determine the respiratory rate and the volumes of inspiratory and expiratory reserves.
In the functional exploration menu, it is possible to estimate the FEV1 or show that the ventilatory flow rate is a function of bronchial diameter.
This comprehensive ventilation module makes it easy to study in detail the concepts of the respiratory system's adaptation to effort. With all the module's functionalities, you can make your students reflect on the impact of sports practice on ventilation or consider the harmful effects of tobacco.

Human Respiration Module:
The module dedicated to the simplified study of gas exchanges in humans: O2 consumption and CO2 production.

Very motivating for the student who is the subject of the experiment, the human respiration module allows them to determine their consumed O2 and rejected CO2> volumes, their respiratory intensity, and their respiratory quotient. Immediately, you can follow the numerical evolution of the values to raise awareness among your students about the concept of ventilated volume.
Equipped with a function to highlight the data necessary for various calculations, it allows the student to realize that the represented data is calculated. The results obtained are then represented in a format that meets the need. The student can focus on the subject studied without specific software training.
The software also includes a specific tab for studying metabolism with adapted effort protocols that allow to relate physical activity, respiration, and energy. It is also possible to choose to calculate the respiratory quotient at the end of the acquisition.

Blood Pressure Module:
Study adaptation to effort through blood pressure.

This blood pressure module allows a different and motivating approach to addressing adaptation to effort for your students. Indeed, measuring blood pressure requires active participation from the student who must react instantly to variations in sounds heard through the stethoscope. It contains 3 tabs: blood pressure, cardiac cycle, and experimental studies.
No setup is required, the data is immediately represented in the correct format with the right scales to enhance student understanding.
This theme can also be used to discuss high blood pressure and its causes, including a diet too rich and tobacco.

Cardiac Activity Module:
To easily perform an ECG, PCG, study heart rate, or stress test.

With this module, you can quickly record an ECG and heart sounds simultaneously with a few clicks to make your students think about the respective form of the signals. They can then calculate resting heart rates and after exertion using this raw data.
There are also two workshops that allow a simple study of heart rate or through stress tests. You can choose either a simple heart rate study or one of the 4 available stress tests. The student can independently highlight the importance of heart rate in adapting to effort. To go further, students can be made aware that even at rest, heart rate is not perfectly constant and be encouraged to question that physical effort is not the only factor influencing heart rate variation.
