Complete Scientific Workshop Software for High School PCs for Foxy consoles
The complete software package contains the general Scientific Workshop (ref. 000 107) + a pack of dedicated software.
The software, being associated with the interface, this license corresponds to a console version of the Scientific Workshop. After validating your purchase and starting Foxy®, you can download the Scientific Workshop. You then operate your software on any PC.
GENERAL SCIENTIFIC WORKSHOP
This software contains:
- An Acquisition Workshop:
It allows you to perform all types of acquisitions with your sensors or your 4 direct inputs in 3 mouse clicks: y = f(x), y = f(t)...... with or without synchronization.
Moreover, thanks to the synchronized video function, you can connect a webcam to the interface, which will then appear like any other sensor and synchronized video acquisitions can be made to give an additional dimension to your lab work.
- A spreadsheet and data processing tools:
The Scientific Workshop also contains an integrated spreadsheet. It allows you to easily perform calculations and generate usable curves. You create graphs and assign your curves.
Your software also includes all the classic processing tools (regression, derivative, Fourier transform...)
- Powerful and simple modeling tools:
Through a graphical or pure mathematical method, you have the ability to model your acquired data to simply link acquired data and theoretical equations...
- Video processing tools:
All in one, the Scientific Workshop also contains ideal video processing tools for mechanics (Free fall, uniformly accelerated motion...) but also a reporting tool, graphic processing tools, help...
DEDICATED SOFTWARE
These applications integrate automatic acquisition setup for quick implementation, specific calculations and processing for clear interpretation of results and a reporting tool to synthesize all observations.
The pack of dedicated software includes:
- A mechanics software:
This application allows for a quick and precise study of classical mechanics phenomena, like Newtonian dynamics. Associated with devices designed by Jeulin (mechanics bench and ball drop), you can measure passage times and speed using the sensor set + Chronociné forks. This provides a representation of position and speed over time.
Numerous experiments are possible and allow for studying different types of movements or highlighting, for example, Newton's three laws.
To process the results, the Scientific Workshop offers several powerful tools such as the spreadsheet-grapher for calculations from columns, mathematical and graphical modeling to establish motion equations, and calculations of derivatives and integrals.
- A 3D ultrasound software:
Developed for the second year program, this application allows, with the Ultrasonic Echo sensor and the 3D Ultrasound model, to understand the principle of ultrasound.
A series of activities guide the student throughout the experimentation and leads them to question the behavior of ultrasound towards certain materials. They can then imagine a practical application based on this behavior, which they directly implement by creating a 3D view of a bone within the model.
Enhanced with 3D visualization tools, this innovative application allows for a comprehensive treatment of the exploration method principle.
- A sound study software (only available for the Foxy® console):
Specifically designed to meet the requirements of the Terminale S program, the Sound module allows, in a sequential and progressive approach, to experiment on sound from the nature of the sound signal (notions of sound waves, frequency...) to spectral analysis through an intuitive discovery of the construction of a sound spectrum.
