Fluke SMFT-1000-LITE - Multifunction solar tester kit

The Fluke SMFT-1000/LITE kit is an important addition to the Solar Multifunction Tester (SMFT) series.

The SMFT-1000/LITE is a response to the specific requirements of solar installers looking for a safe, reliable, and cost-effective solution to perform Category 1 IEC 62446-1 tests on photovoltaic solar installations.

With the color-coded test leads and the "Keep the Leads" function, the SMFT-1000/LITE can automatically perform the mandatory safety tests in less than 30 seconds, in accordance with the international standard for photovoltaic installations IEC 62446-1.

This includes polarity tests, continuity of protective earthing conductors (RLO), open-circuit voltage (VOC), short-circuit current (ISC), and insulation resistance (RINS) tests.

The SMFT-1000/LITE version comes with essential accessories, specially designed for mandatory safety tests, while retaining the flexibility to expand test capabilities by adding additional accessories.

The SMFT-1000/LITE shares the same mainframe as the KIT and PRO versions, making it easy to expand features without the need for firmware updates. Users can easily add accessories such as the i100 clamp for inverter operation and efficiency tests or the IRR2-BT for precise tracing and evaluation of I-V curves. The SMFT-1000/LITE is designed to be a versatile and adaptable tool, evolving with the changing test needs of solar energy professionals.
