All oscilloscopes in the DHO800 series are equipped with Rigol's second-generation "Centaurus" chipset, which offers 12-bit resolution. This allows the DHO800 series oscilloscopes to capture waveforms with a resolution 16 times higher than previous models equipped with 8-bit converters.
