  • The A1631 monitoring adapter is an accessory specially designed for monitoring the CP signal, current, and voltage during the charging process of electric vehicles (EVs) in conjunction with the A1632 test adapter. It is equipped with a Type 2 female connector to connect to an EV and a Type 2 male power socket to connect to an Electric Vehicle Charging Station (EVCS).

AC current monitoring EV charging with up to 32A EVSE:
• Monitoring of CP signal communication during charging; *

• Ability to connect instruments for current and voltage verification (e.g., energy analyzer MW9683B);
• Ability to simulate an external load (up to 13A) via banana plugs and check the EVSE meters.

Note: The Android eMobility application only allows for functional testing on electric vehicle charging equipment (EVSE).
