If you are involved in inspecting, installing, maintaining, or monitoring the performance of solar panels or a photovoltaic system, the Fluke IRR1-SOL solar irradiance meter allows you to perform the 4 essential measurements, all with a single easy-to-use tool. Take instantaneous measurements to determine the watts per square meter of solar irradiance, in accordance with the IEC 62446-1 standard. Measure temperature by placing the meter directly on the panel or by connecting the external probe. Find the cardinal point with the compass and check the tilt of a roof or panel with the tilt function. A single instrument enables you to obtain all the essential photovoltaic measurements for installing and monitoring a photovoltaic system, as well as for generating reports on its performance.
