The FiberMASTER OTDR reflectometer is available in 4 versions: quad, multimode, single-mode, and PON. The OTDR with high dynamic range and low dead zones offers the required precision for both installation and troubleshooting. The selectable built-in thresholds facilitate cabling certification according to TIA/ISO/IEC/IEEE standards with clear pass/fail results in red/green. Customized test parameters are also available to adapt to any application and end customer demand. Some OTDRs can be complicated to set up and it is difficult to obtain accurate results. The FiberMASTER automates testing and guides you to understand measurement results (see below). For FTTx/FTTH applications, the PoN OTDR also identifies telecom couplers to simplify testing and troubleshooting of active and inactive networks. The 1625nm wavelength allows testing of operator links in service without disrupting existing subscribers.
