Matrix - Shield Arduino E-blocks 2 - BL0055

The expansion card allows to connect multiple E-blocks 2 cards to a single upstream E-blocks 2 port. The data pins are controlled using an MCP23S17 I/O expansion integrated circuit via an SPI connection to the host controller. The I/O expander provides digital data. It features input and output capabilities as well as more advanced functions such as interrupt on change. The board also has three DIP switches that are used to set the address of the I/O expander, allowing for up to 8 expansion cards on the same SPI Connections card. Automatic identification functionality is transferred to the connected cards. Please note that only one board should be connected to ports labeled 1 and 2 to allow the expansion pins to be unique and for automatic identification to work correctly.
