FACTORY I/O is a real-time automation testing software where students can create and simulate industrial systems, with heavy and light load conveyors, gateways, sensors, actuators, and warning devices. These can also be controlled with hardware or software PLCs.

- MHJ, for Siemens software PLCs (WinSPS-S7 and WinPLC)
- AUTOMGEN TCP/IP
- Siemens: LOGO! 0BA7/0BA8, S7-300/400, S7-1200, S7-1500 in TCP/IP and S7-PLCSIM (v5.4/5.5)
Other available packs: Modbus and OPC DA client, Allen-Bradley.
