Beha-Amprobe ULD-420-EUR - Ultrasonic Leak Detector with Transmitter

When the equipment starts to show signs of malfunction due to an air or gas leak, vibrations, or an electrical discharge, the leak point emits an ultrasonic sound wave, beyond the natural range of human hearing.

The ultrasonic leak detectors from the ULD-400-EUR series convert these ultrasonic waves into a signal that can be used to determine the exact location of the equipment failure. Clearly observe the leak intensity on the bar graph of the large LCD screen and identify the source of the leak by listening to the converted sound in the audible spectrum emitted through the headset. When working in non-pressurized systems, or when the pressure is not sufficient to detect or confirm a leak using the receiver alone, use the transmitter to generate an ultrasonic signal (provided in the ULD-420-EUR kit). In extremely noisy environments, where operating machines or equipment generate significant ultrasonic noise, the receiver's filter function can filter out up to three main noise frequencies that would otherwise mask the sound of the fault.
