Thermocut hot wire coupler
For architectural models, designers, decorators, creators (also for practical work in applied art), and prototype construction. And of course for classic modeling (for trains, planes, or boats). The heating elements operate with a current of 10 V at 1.0 A. Sturdy frame offering a large working surface in aluminum composite of 390 x 290 mm, and with a surface structure ensuring easy and smooth sliding of the piece. The frame is screen printed with angle markings for ease of use. Solid aluminum bow (span of 350 mm and passage height of 140 mm). With bracket and coil (comes with 30 m of 0.2 mm heating wire). Angled cuts are made by sliding the bracket. An LED diode, functioning indicator, prevents fingers from getting burned. Indeed, the hot wire reaches its full temperature in less than a second. Aluminum composite table for easy and smooth sliding of the pieces to be cut. Cutting guides and angles screen printed. Note: The correct temperature (according to material and thickness) is determined with a bit of sensitivity and practice. Optimal cutting is achieved more with a measured temperature and pressure.
